The Greece Programme was undertaken in Greece, during which time we had a good exploration of the country.
The project is intended to raise a certain issue and seek for a solution during the one-month visit.
Greece is a mediterrainean country that has encountered economical crisis. A lot of civic places have lost the vigor and population that they used to own. In order to revitalize these abandoned commercial centers, a chasing cloud installation is conceived as a machine to re-unite people together in the civic public space.
Due to the climate in Greece, the chasing cloud is mainly responsible for generating water vapor to cool down the concrete jungle of the center city, which is expected to be popular among the travelers. There are three forms of the sprinklers to be applied to different environment, which is the cloud tree, cloud canopy and cloud floor. It is expected that those installations, by changing the micro climate of certain area, could become attractions to help people re-visit the abandoned civic areas and revitalize the domestic consumption.
